SInce Thursday afternoon I've had all my period symptoms, cramps, back pain, spotting, etc. This would be my only me second period. I sort of got my first one at the end of May (It wasn't really flowing). I just had spotting. I've heard starting out your periods will be inconsistent. It's the same thing this time. Except I'm noticing more blood when I wipe. My mom is like freaking out the something is really wrong since my stomach pain/cramps are really uncomfortable. But some of my friends can be doubled over in pain with their period cramps. Mine aren't that bad. I just feel uncomfortable. Please help!

  1. If it will make her feel better, have her take you to the doctor.  If you're not in any serious pain, there is really nothing to worry about, especially if this is your second period ever.  Welcome to Womanhood :)

  2. Tell you mom that being a young girl is aqward enough and so is just getting your period. The last thing I would want to do would be to go to the gyno at your age. If you have never had s*x you are perfectly fine and it is just your period. Look up some stuff online and explain to her the info you found about how it is teh first few month you get it.

  3. just explain to her that you're not feeling that bad. I really don't know what else you can do to ease her worries.

  4. To calm her, agree to go the doc, just to make her calm. It might be good anyway. He/she can check that you're healthy down there and tell your mom that it IS your period.

    She's just worried about you.

  5. Just explain that you know your body better than she does (nicely, no snotty tones). Then explain that you will come to her if you ever get worried. Sometimes if I skip a period (or am late) it will come back to bite me in the butt and my mom gets worried too. That's all I say.

  6. yeah cramps can hurt a lot. i got it so bad one time that it cause me to have a classic migrane and i was pretty much blacked out for two hours.....yeah i have it bad. just tell your mom that it just hurts a little bit and that if its really something else then to wait a day or two becasue they should pass soon. and getting your first one in may and now august...i know they start off irregular but generally not that much they mean by like over or under a week or 2.

  7. Well when i first started mine when i was 12 i was really heavy on for 3 days but its normal i get them real bad but if your that worried go to the doctor or use a tampon ive been using them ever since i started but if your worried about your blood flow see a doctor
