How to convince my mom to buy me a flat iron?

my mom tells me tht ironing ur hair ,damage ur hair...yeah i know but buying a ceramic coated iron dont damage ur hair

Ceramics go up to 400 deg. F and YES they DO damage your hair.  Maybe if you agreed to use it only 1 to 2 times per week she might agree.

With frequent use even a higher-end flat iron can cause damage to your hair.  Perhaps you and your mom can come to some sort of compromise.  You could offer to pay for half, or perhaps limit the number of days a week you use it.  There are also products that you can purchase to spray on your hair before use that will help protect from damage.  Even those won't eliminate damage completely, but are useful in helping to minimize it.
