  1. I got a kitten for my birthday last year =)

well I would proove to them that you're responsible enough to have a cat..take care of your dog without being asked etc.

if they ask what you want for your birthday tell them you want a cat (preferably from the pound  please =^.^= )

if they are iffy about it ask them why and calmy and adultly (idk what word I'm looking for there >.<) ask them why they  don't want to get one.

hope this helps and good luck

  2. I got a kitten for my bday this year July 5Th actually i didn't ask for him but he was my favorite present yet and always will be :). just try and ask if they say no theres nothing you can really do maybe show them you are responsible enough to take care of it ex. you will have to clean the litter box everyday change the litter at least once a week give it fresh water everyday and food.

  3. Well let them know the upsides of having a cat in the house.Things like it gets rid of flies and that dogs who have a cat in the house are a lot less likely to be aggressive to other dogs and people. Its also good for them mentally because usually  dogs with companions like cat or other dogs tend to be a lot less needy as far as attention goes.

  4. First of all please adopt one. Adopting can be done through this site:http://www.petfinder.com/

Tell them how pets are good for you:http://www.cdc.gov/HEALTHYPETS/health_be...

Be EXTREMELY responsible. Look after your dog extensively, pet sit other peoples pets (if you wanna go the extra mile, do it FOR FREE!), do extra chores with out your mom asking you to, pay for all the adoption fees, toys, beds and such. Also, if you get one from a shelter or rescue group it will most likely have most of it's shots if it is a grown cat and now a kitten. Learn about cats:

Then make a very impressive oral presentation our power point. Make sure that the cat you get gets alone with dogs well.

    Hope this helps☺

    God bless
