I really want a rabbit but my parents wont let me. I have tons of money saved up, i have enough for the cage all the toys the hay and the cage and of course the rabbit but they still wont let me, And they won't give me any reason why!! Even though they JUST bought my brother a 100 dollar fishtank, tons of stuff inside equaling about 70 dollars plus 80 dollars worth of fish for it. and today they bought him another 50 dollar fishtank and a bunch of stuff to go in it equaling about 30 dollars and tomorrow my dad is taking him out of town to get even more fish for that tank! it isnt fair i really want a bunny and they dont care at all. my dad said it was different because all they do is sit around, but it doesnt matter they are still pets!

  1. First of all tell them that if you get a rabbit that you will take care of it by yourself. Then take responsibility in the house. Do what your prents ask you to do. That should convince them. But do that for a very long time.

  2. bunnies are way harder to care for. they can easily over heat and die. you need to live in a very cool climate and they smell terrible if their cage isn't cleaned once a day and then they still smell and if you let it run around the house the p**p gets all over and they chew on stuff too. you should get a fish tank for your room.........sorry I guess Im not helping.....lol. just tell them you will take care of the bunny and clean its cage three times a day. lol good luck kiddo

  3. show them that you are responsible enough to take care of a rabbit.

  4. Show  them  your  responsible.

  5. oohhh, i would like a bunny!!!!!!!!! everything has a reason and that may be cuz there are family probs with bunnies like allergies, etc. maybe cuz they cost a lot. or maybe they just like ur bro better. idk just tell them why you want a bunny and how you've been feeling about ur bro getting what he wants. good luck :)

  6. Rabbits take allot of care if you don't care for them properly they stink and are nasty. If they know you know about how to take care of a rabbit maby they will let you.

  7. if ur parents care about crapping issues then my rabbit is potty trained and its easy to teach them it. u uses some news paper and some shavings. just do what your parents say to and theyll see your responsible. rabbits r hard to handle they might urinate on furniture and jump on it bc my rabbit can jump 3 ft in the air theyre hard but youll learn but u dont wash them never wash them they spray some good smell and my rabbit is scared of outside so i cant tell u about outside srry

  8. My first suggestion for you would be to check out adopting a rabbit. There are many rabbits that need homes that are in shelters. If you do get a rabbit from a shelter or foster home, they are already neutered and litter train a few points your parents might find interesting and help them to say yes.

  9. Honestly, taking care of rabbits is a lot of work...  How about this-  check out some volunteer opportunities with bunnies.   Really look into the diet and needs of a house rabbit, and see it you can commit.  The best thing you can do is get some hands on experience from people who have rabbits, these animals are really sensitive and it will be integral for your rabbit's success.

  10. are u sure u want a rabbit. i had 3. thy live anywhere from 3 to 15 years old and p**p a h**l of a lot and their cage should be cleaned every 3 days. they chew on everything but like a dog u still love em.
