  1. Why don't they want you to have a kitty? They are very easy to take care of, the almost never stink, food and supplies are very cheap. Let them know that the responsibility of having a cat as well as the benefits of kitty companionship would 1) help you stay out of trouble 2) improve your social skills.


  2. Just keep hinting it to mom. If she is leaning towards yes, she might get you one without dad knowing.
