How to cook Smoked Hadock?

I took my cat to the vet yesteerday following my previous question, he oredered me to starve her all day yesterday he then said to give her some fish today. I did so I bought fresh haddock from morrisons. BUT i do not have a clue how to cook it.any help??

Is it fresh, or smoked?  If it is smoked, then it is already cooked.  Just flake it up & feed it to her.  Otherwise, just fry in a small amount of oil (no spices, not good for the kitty) until it flakes easily (about 5 minutes each side).  :)

Unless you have a smoker, it's really hard to smoke a fish.  You can fry it in oil, bake it in a pan, or grill it.  Fish doesn't take long.  Just cook until it flakes easily.  Stick a fork in it and turn.  If the meat comes apart, it's done.

You can also try canned tuna or salmon in water.  Just drain the water off.  My canned salmon comes with bones and stuff.  I clean them out before I eat it.
