  1. A GREAT PORK ROAST

    2 tbsp. butter

    2 tbsp. olive oil

    Salt and pepper to taste

    2 1/2 c. milk

    1/2 c. whipping cream

    2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated

    3 lb. pork roast (boneless)

    1. Melt butter and oil. When butter foams, add pork and brown on all sides over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.

    2. Stir in milk and bring to a boil.

    3. Reduce heat (medium low) with partial cover to allow steam to escape for approximately 1 3/4 hours. Baste several times. Meat should be tender.

    4. Take out pork and wrap in aluminum foil to keep warm.

    5. Cook sauce for 10 minutes. Skim off all fat. Add whipping cream to sauce over high heat stirring with wood spoon. This will melt down all meat fat draining.

    6. Place sauce into blender until smooth. Place this sauce again on simmer 1-2 minutes until thick.

    7. Cut meat into slices and arrange. Pour sauce over meat. Serve immediately.

  2. The best way I've found is what I do with a pork tenderloin.  I cut slits in the top, all across, and put slivers of fresh garlic in the slits.  Then I rub an herb salt on top...usually I use equal parts (about 1 tsp. each) of salt, marjoram and sage.  Then just roast it at 325 degrees F for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours, or just until done.  I always be sure a pork roast is cooked thoroughly, but if you cook it too long it gets too dry.

This is the best recipe I've ever found for a pork roast actually, and is very easy and requested of me often, and every time I've made it it's been a huge hit.

  4. I cook mine in the crock pot and either add a little water and a bay leaf or coat it with dry onion soup mix.

  5. Look there will be other answers but the BEST way is the Puerto Rican style to make it ! Seriously its moist and flavorful and undeniably the best ! My mom makes it every Christmas and thanksgiving and we all rejoice lol seriously . So give it a try !

Heres a youtube video about it all .

My family secret is to make deep cuts  in the meat (sounds crazy but it doesn't dry actually makes it more moist and flavourful ) then put garlic ,adobo and many seasons in there . Also season the meat and place in fridge overnight to really get the flavours to the bone . We add alot of crushed garlic like a full head so do not be afraid to add a lot of garlic . A few hours in the oven later the bone will fall off the bone and your house will smell amazing !

Its the best recipe add some arroz con gondules (goes perfect with meat ) and your family will love you ! I know it seems difficult especially if you dont know what spanish seasonings are but totally worth it !

    Best of luck :)

  6. Best & easiest Pork Roast answer right here!!!!

Browning bag!!! It will be the most tenderest, best tasting, melt in your mouth pork roast you've ever had!!!!!

My own words here no recipe..basically poke holes and fill with garlic, add flour onion n meat to the bag n cook low and slow...BASICALLY!!

How to cook cracklins below w/photos

1 Large Pork butt(not real cold out of frig)

4 to 7 cloves of garlic OR MORE(each cut 1/2) enough to do the big butt!

    sea salt

    pepper(fresh is best)

1 large onion sliced in rings

    1/4 cup of flour

1 e-xxlarge browning bag( make sure its big enough for your butt!)

    large roasting pan.

    DO NOT ADD WATER!!!!!!!!!

K, with a paring knife poke holes in the meat(do this one hole at a time) then stick your finger in the hole to make it big enough to insert the sliced garlic. Push the garlic down in the holes, put a little salt in the hole.. Do this all over the roast inserting garlic about every 2 or 3 inches apart. Now salt the outside good, Pepper it good, now open the browning bag, lay it in the roasting pan, spread it out and with your hand throw the flour in to cover the bottom. Laya lay the onion slices on top of the flour. Now carefully put you the roast in, skin side down (need the biggest bags for plenty of room). Now put the rest of the onion on the top of meat. Seal the bag very very tightly with the twisty thing that comes with the bag. Poke holes in the top of the bag with the paring knife READ THE PACKAGE FOR DIRECTION ON HOW MANY AND WHERE TO PUT THE HOLES) Before you start poking. Now put in a 400* preheated oven. Cook 20 minutes then reduce to 275*. Cook it for 4 1/2 hours if it is gigantic or less like 3 1/2 hour for smaller one.
