How to cook unagi in with a microwave...

I bought a unagi a while ago with instructions on the back detailing how to cook it with the microwave. I bought another from a different company and this one has absolutely no instructions on it. I can't remember what i need to do to cook it with the microwave. Please help! all i remember is that you have to poke holes into it (it is a frozen unagi by the way) and stick it in the mircowave, but i can't remember for how long. thanks!

Here is some guidance on how to cook frozen unagi in a microwave:

If unagi is frozen, place sealed package in microwave; defrost for about 2 minutes. Prick unagi package a few times on top with a knife. Microwave on high until heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove unagi from package.

Actually, heating plastic at high temps. releases the chemicals, which then get on your food. These chemicals are very bad for you.

It would be better to remove the unagi from the wrapping and place it on a microwave safe dish. Cover the unagi with a wet paper towel and heat for about 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 minutes (depending on your power level setting). No need to poke any holes.
