How to cool a room down?

i need to cool my room down because its really hot...DUH..anyway i have my window open and it usually cools down really fast but since my room is on the tom floor its the last to get rid of the days heat and its not cold outside at all anyway....i dont have a fan and its too late to go get one or buy anything...what can i do because as hot as it is now i dont see me being able to get to sleep tonight....Please help! tnx!

yeah my room is like that to like right now its 85 in here :( but just try to keep all electrical things off like lights, tvs, or computers

Without a fan, there isn't much you can do.

You can try and open some windows downstairs and then open all the windows upstairs and the heat that is rising will draw the cooler outside air in and up to the top floor. Doing it that way will take time though.

When you do get a fan, use it to blow the air out of your room and it will draw in cooler outside air.

To cool yourself down, try taking a shower and spraying a little water on your sheets. You can also put a couple of ice cubes in your bed.
