Question:

How to cope up with failure??

I have been trying to cope up with what my life takes into...but starting from my career to my relationship everything comes as though it is going to be successful but at the end the road turns out to end nowhere and i end up depressed...i have come to my wits end to cope up but the only thing resulted is i end up losing confidence...i feel am no good...when compared to my friends..i know comparing is no good but am left helpless...i really don know what to do...is there anyway i can boost my positive thininking....

  1. Dear Koolgal,

    Everyone goes through a phase where nothing works out for them and they feel helpless just as u r feeling right now. Look at the bright side of the situation always, no matter how bad the time goes and what ever it snatches from you, you will always have a bright side, when u look at it, it will give you hope to live and fight. you can call that a silver lining to a dark cloud or a window opened up. most of the times when things go wrong, at least with careers it is us who makes the wrong choice. think about it, if you feel it was wrong then you will also know how to correct it. am i right? and when it comes to relationships and people, you can't do much. coz it is people you are dealing with.

    i know it is hard to think positive, but not impossible. so think what is the positive flip of the situation, if you got out of a relationship, think what new opportunities you can find. if you are having trouble with work, find out what is that u r doing wrong and put all your energy into making things right. you may fail once even ten times, but even god has to give up troubling you when you are that persistent.

    Just hang in there, think positive. always remember, the only way out of a problem is through it. So face it boldly, you may lose the battle but you will win the war. good luck.


  2. Every night before going to sleep, look all the happenings of day. Look your self TV your acts, good or bad. Creat this habbit to overcome your weakness and you will gain confidience.

  3. i think you need to look at the positive side of your life

    everyone has their own problems and they hide within themselves

    even i am down these days,sometimes i feel i am looser ,but something keeps me saying that i will be having good days in future

    u need to take the failure as part of life ,its shudnt be ur life

    start doing mediation,or praying to good ,or relaxing by listening to music ,which soothes ur mind and body

    u need to have a hope in ur life,just the way i am having a hope

  4. Read "Bhagvad Gita" with love and passion to learn and improve. Do yoga, regular exercise, have balanced food, good sleep, quality but limited recreation and focus on your studies to have an excellent career. Always nice to be polite and forgiving to have peace of mind. Remember never to have bad habits and bad company. You will see the difference in a short while by your self. Good luck!

  5. Hey, don't get so down on yourself!!  I bet you are better than you are letting on.

    This may sound hokey, but I recommend that you get the book The Power of Positive Thinking.  Read it and try to apply the principles in it to your life.  It has helped tens of thousands of people.

  8. Hey kid.....I've been let down and ridiculed so many times in my life it isn't even funny.  I have learned to accept these sort of things as either constructive criticism or building blocks for improvement towards the goals you are trying to achieve.  Good luck!
