  1. If there is an interlock device ordered onto your car, it's because you were convicted of driving stupid.  So now you pay for installing it, and pay the monthly charge if you want to continue driving.  And if you aren't sober, it won't start, which is good because you won't drive stupid again and kill someone.  And sometimes it won't start when you ARE sober, but that's part of it.  Quit driving stupid and you won't have to worry about it.


  2. Don't drink and drive and you won't have to worry about it.

If you choose to drive, then you must accept this as part of your rehabilitation.  You will get used to it.  If you do not want to use it, and the stipulations of your sentence permit it, then don`t drive for the length of the time period for which an interlock is required.  Yes...there is an element of shame involved...it`s part of the process.  The interlock is a constant reminder of your mistake...use it positively...be responsible!

  4. As in a (DUI), just live with it and understand what you did was wrong and you will cope with it just fine.........
