How to copy video to my psp?

Question

i am having psp slim & lite (psp-2004pb) and i want to copy videos to psp from my pc and dvd.how can i do it?and i want some software to convert dvd to psp where can i download it.

note: i tryed as it is give in the manual i did not work.
