How to corners with heavy fabric

i have a canvas board which i want to cover with this upholstery fabric

having problems with the corners simply ideas please

Use a heavy duty staple gun if you can. Trim excess fabric from the corner to reduce bulk, like your covering a school book.

If you take the excess you plan to fold under at the corners and cut slits in the material it will make it easier to make it a clean corner.
