My sister is selling her house. She has a finished basement but for some reason they drywalled entire basement but for one area that has a pipe extending out of the wall into the ceiling. the pipe extends outwards about 5-6 inches. She would like to have this covered . Should she have someone drywall a box around it, then paint it or paint whole room again? Is there any better/easier ways to have this covered?

  1. you second idea is the best have a box build and leave a door in case that there are shut off  and someone will need to have access to them later on .
