How to create manmade cyclone..?

I am creating a toy that shows a cyclone in a glass tube.

Any idea how to create one?

I thought like a rotational force from under neath or from the side or something like that.

Any idea?

Any site source?

That would be the best way.

A tube, with a little fan secured to the bottom of it with the introduction of smoke to get a visual of the rotating wind.

Its a cute idea and can show Coriolis Forces on winds, but wouldn't be very instructive as to how tornadoes form naturally which is a very complex process of gradient interactions between cold and warm air masses in flat places.
