  1. If you're bigger than your defender, post them up, make a strong dribble forward, then spin back and put up your shot Charles Barkley style.

Step backs and pull up jumpshots work too but require you to shoot off balance.

If all that fails then have someone screen for you, then come off the screen and put up your shot.

  2. act like your driving then crossover really fast then youll have room or just shoot a fade away

  3. crossover fake, like do a crossover faking to move forward and just stay in place, also known as the "ankle breaker". it werks wen i do it

  4. i would probably use a step back. it is where you are dribbling and you start to drive and then when you get into a range you are comfortable with you use your inside foot that is closest to the basket to kinda jump back a little bit. watch kobe do it on youtube sometime that is a good example of who does it well. it works very well because the defender wont know it is coming and they will probably be off balance if you can do it well, giving you even more time to shoot the ball

  5. If you still have your dribble in that situation use your head and go into him/her. You can take a quick step into the defender then jump back and shoot. Or back down and use a hook. There's a lot of way to get rid of a defender it mainly just takes some practice and experience.

  6. If you are a young play never forget this. OFFENSIVE BASKETBALL IS 99% BODY USE & POSITION. Not handles, not dribble moves, but know how your movement affects the body position of your defender. The goal us to either get the defender rocking or get him on his heels. Note his defensive stance. if he squares up to you, you can go strong either way goal is to get on the outside of either one of his legs and force him to drop the leg you attacked back and slide. At that point he is on his heels and even if he's faster then you and cut off the lane , he's sliding and doesn't have a firm base keep him on your hip use your body to walk him to the spot on the floor you feel comfortable at, then again use your hips to create space. If he is playing you with one leg forward. Attack his front leg. Make him change his body position, he's going to have to drop his lead leg and possibly make a cross over step if you are quick. The rest you should be able to figure out from here.

  7. behind the back to to any side and pull up

  8. quick jab at them then pull back into a jumper...run at the then go between the legs for a pull back...lean into him with your pivot leg real quick (giving him a lil bump) then come back n pull up (this requires a quick release) or a long ball/jab fake like your guna drive (swinging the ball with you while protecting it) and if he bites pull ur leg back n go up. :)
