  2. How to create a System Restore Point

       1. Quit all running apps

       2. Go to Start... All Programs... Accessories... System Tools... System Restore

       3. At Welcome Screen, click CREATE A RESTORE POINT... click Next

       4. Name the Restore Point.

              * Ex: Before I installed PageMaker

              * The date and time will automatically appear in the Restore Point so you don't have to include these in the name.

       5. Click Create.

    How to go back to a Restore Point:

    NOTE: This will only restore system settings...not any lost data.

       1. Quit all running apps

       2. Start...All Programs... Accessories... System Tools...System Restore.

       3. At select a Restore Point, choose APPROPRIATE Date... click Next

       4. Confirm (make sure it's what you want)

       5. Click Next

  4. first you go to start then All Programs, Accessories,System Tools, and then click System Restore. another window should open from there follow the directions. hope this helps.

  5. First click on Start button

    Then>All Programs>Accessories>System tools>System Restore>Create a Restore Point>next>then give a name to the restore point so that you can remember it in the future then ckick finish.
