Question:

How to crochet a heart onto an afghan im making?

I've googled it and everything and i found patterns to make individual hearts or heart squares, but i'm making a blanket and want a heart in the middle...any help?

Use Grid paper to plot out the design of the afghan, then you can see where you would want to place markers or start a secondary color for the heart.  Fillet Crochet would be a good place to get ideas on how this works exactly.  Won't matter if your doing single, double or treble (tripple) stitches to create the  "fabric" just be sure that you work all the ends in securely or it will unravel in the wash!

  3. you can go to KnitPro 2.0 online you can upload a pic of a heart and it will give you a chart that you can use in crochet, just do the calculations to put it in the middle
