i've only tried this once before, and i'm pretty sure i did something wrong. when i woke up and took out my braids, my hair was krimpy, not wavy. i have layered hair, but i don't think that had anything to do with it.

i really want hair that looks like this:

i read that combining sea salt and water can make your hair look beach-wavy, but someone said it dries hair out. so can anyone help me? do you use any products before you do your braids? and anything that can make your hair look beach wavy?

and ps i've tried curling irons. they don't work on me. :)

  1. Try going to walmart and getting "Sunsilk" sea mist.

    it works well :)

  2. try using some mousse or defining gel/spray on your damp hair, then blowdry with a diffuser.  then go back to ur largest curling iron and take 3 inch wide sections of hair and WRAP them around the barrel and hold them there (dont use the clamp).  hold the curling iron vertically, and leave an inch out on the ends.  hope this helps:)

  3. If your sea-salt idea doesn't work then try my idea

*Wash your hair at night and let it air dry

*Section your hair in 4-6 sections(depends on thickness of hair)

*Grab a section  & twist it until it turns into a loose bun (make it neat)

    *Sleep(ZzZ)

*Wake up & Take them out
