  1. chip away some of the mortar then remove a brick or 2 for the size u need

  2. Start out by getting 1/4" masonry bit and drill a hole on the perimeter line of your circle.  Next get a diamond blade for your jig saw.  This will cut it, go slow.  At Homedepot you will find this blade where the have marble and granite tile.  The blade is about $5.00

    Good Luck

  3. Here's your simple answer.

Draw an X where you want the hole and smash it with a sledge hammer!

When people ask questions on DIY, we normally try to give very good solutions. However, in your case, since you think we are playing games, DON'T ASK ANYMORE!!!

  4. The other poster isn't playing games.  Unless you know a professional that does that kind of work, that WAS a simple answer!

  5. The easiest way is to find a tool rental yard in your yellow pages, then rent a core drill.  You could also rent a chipping hammer with a chisel bit, but that won't make as neat a hole.  Hope this helps.
