Is there any good way to cut the outside covering off of brie?

  1. The rind is edible. The brie should be at room temperature, and use a soft knife to cut it into wedges. Let people decide whether or not to eat the rind, you can always just leave it behind if you don't like it but I do.


  2. The rind on brie is edible, so you don't have to remove it. It is normally served as a wedge that guests slice pieces off with a cheese knife.

    If its a matter of taste, you can use a cheese knife (or a paring knife even) to remove the rind.

  3. You DON'T cut the outside off of it to serve...  cut a wedge out of it and use a cheese knife to get the cheese out.  Some people like to eat some of the rind too

  4. get a gutar string and cut it with it pulled tight

  5. you can freeze the cheese.then you can do whatever you want.

    generally,the outside part is to be consumed also.
