How to cut hair for school easy points?

Alright going into 8th grade. I want bangs (side) and some layers. I need the bangs to be at a height where i can tuck behind ears. This will be my first time getting bangs so what are some opinions should i do it? like so somethings u like or dislike about them. Also i am a girl =] and i am semi-tan (but pretty pale) and a heart shaped head.

  1. I have bangs, I like them. But definitely go get it cut by a professional and just tell them exactly what you said you wanted. Bringing a picture in helps too. Bangs are just fun for me, I like pinning them back, I think they just frame peoples faces a lot better than bangless hair does. But in 8th grade, I had bangs that looked horrible. I just looked dirty all the time...

    So go for it, find a picture that looks like the hair you want, and take it to a trusted salon (Skip the great clips places. A good cheap way to get your hair cut is at a beauty school. It's like 10 dollars, and it's almost rare that they really really s***w up since they're under so much scrutiny from their teacher that's directing every single move they make)
