Question:

How to cut in a high foyer when painting?

I don't have a large ladder, only a 6 ft step ladder. I'm 6 feet tall, too. I had a tough time painting the ceiling and now to cut in the wall without hitting the ceiling is going to be tough. How do you get up over the stairs on the wall at the ceiling and be careful enough to cut it in? Is there a pole for brushes too,not just rollers?? :-)

  1. go rent a 10 ft step ladder.....

    lic. gen. contractor

  2. The handles of the rollers can usually have painting poles inserted into them.

    They're called ROLLER POLES.

Here are extension poles for brushes.

  3. no pole for brushes you will have to get a scaffold or a higher ladder.

  4. Paint pads are available with the receptor for a pole.  They are designed for just this sort of task.  I would expect them to be available where ever paint supplies are sold as well as hardware stores.

    Happy Painting!
