How to dance at dances?!?

Question

I've been to a few dances and I really don't know how to dance. I don't really dance with guys but my friend who I hang out with at dances, dances with like every guy. She tells me to come and join her so my other friend and I kinda just dance together (she doesn't know how to dance either). How do I try to at least look like I know how to dance. My friend that can dance is friends with like all the guys and I am too but she can dance with anyone and be good at it.

just watch some music videos- but dont copy the moves,, make them your own.
