How to deactivate my firewall so i can connect to wifi with my ds?

it says:

communication error.you have been disconnected from nintendo wi-fi connection.

for help visit www.nintendowifi.com (81010)

But i go to to ninten do wifi and follow the process but i still don't get it

You connect your DS to your router.  The firewall in your computer won't affect that.

Don't think you should deactivate your firewall, you can be open to all sorts of nasty thing, you can go into your firewall and allow your ds through when it tells you it's being blocked.
