How to deal/calm a stray?

I have a cat that I took in 2 years ago who seems to be the bane of my existence. I own 3 other cats, either adopted from a previous owner or taken from their mother at 8-10 weeks. The other day she jumped on me and scraped my arm up badly. She seems to not want the other cats to eat. I have tried giving her lots of love and assurance. It sounds bad to say, but I wish I had never taken her in. She is aggressive and hateful.

Maybe you need to put out more food bowls for the cats.  Is it possible for you to keep her separated from the other cats part of the day if it is the other cats in the house that are bothering her.

Can you identify what makes her aggressive?  or is random?
