  1. Discipline. Consistant rules. Following through with the punishments. Its very frustrating to go through as a parent, but you have to be as consistant as a broken record, making sure there is always a consequence for a behavior you don't want repeated.

  2. What makes the child a "bratty" kid...who made the child a "bratty" kid?

  3. Even though my son is only 16 months he can still be bratty. He throws terrible temper tantrums and i usually just let him cry it out. I put him where he is safe and let him lose it usually I have to walk away for a couple of minutes to prevent myself from giving in and picking him up. So I have utilizing this method for a couple of days now and his temper tantrums seem to be decreasing

  4. You might want to be a little more specific as to what you consider bratty behavior. I cant just say punish him or something without knowing whats going on.

  5. You have to be very consistent. But make sure it is being a brat or being a kid.

  6. Lots and lots of timeouts until he starts listening. Taking away his toys until he starts to behave. Give them back one by one as he learns to be a better child.
