How to deal with a flirty loverr?

my girlfriend and i have been together for almost a year and she tends to flirt with other people,, boys and girlss,, and it really bugs me and i told her,, but she says shes in love with me and only wants to be with me,, so i want to know why its such a necessity for her to flirt with others when it hurts mee.

Flirting back (as retaliation) probably wont work. She doesn't care if you wanna flirt with others, which is why she feels comfortable doing it in that she doesnt think you will care either. If you confront her about it she will probably just say that is "how she is." Not that any of this is helpful but this is how my experience has worked in the past. My only advice is to let her know HOW YOU feel, how SHE MAKES you feel that way, and WHY you feel that way. If she cares then she should understand and attempt to accomodate or compromise with you. Seriously, if you are more important to her than random guys then it shouldn't be that hard for her to change her actions (in my point of view at least).
