How to deal with a pet leaving the family?

My little brother is allergic to my cats and now we must get rid of them. My parents are taking them to a no kill shelter but they're old and I'm afraid they won't be adopted. How can I deal with losing my kittys. By the way they're brothers and I would like them to be adopted together because they have never been seperated how can I make that happen???

Maybe you should give them both to someone instead of giving them to a shelter or give them to a Retirement Home. The elderly would really like that.

i am so sorry to hear this since i know what it feels like. My cat died recently and that kinda feels like giving her away. My brother was allegic to her but by being with the cat he is not longer allergic



to help you deal with giving them away :

-take many pictures and make an album

-make a video or videos of them and you together

-take ther necklace,fav toy....ect and put them in a box

about the shelter:

ask your parents if you can try to find a family instead of bringing them to a shelter. again i am so sorry to hear this and i hope i have helped
