Where I work we have a lady whos been with the company for over 10 years. She is extrmely controlling, irritating, itterupts, nagging etc etc. Iam sure we all have these in the work place but how do you handle these people? For an example when your handling a phone call, she will stand right next to you, tap her finger on your desk and pester you afterwards about what you could have done better....even though what you said was the same thing but just not in HER words. Its come to the breakin point here..someone please give me some input here...Anyone have one these? Any tips you want to give as to how to deal with this sort of situation?

Thanks In Advance! :)

  1. Kiss up...Be a submissive obedient employee. Let her love ya

  2. Put a positive spin on this...... she is looking out for the best interest of the company. She is a good employee and trying her best to keep all your jobs by training you (all?) to a high standard.

On the other hand if she is like this to all, push her in the Xerox room and lock the door!!!! (only kidding)

It's tough working with people like this. They are bullies... there is a law against it and you can take steps to stop it.

You could try and ask her (nicely) why she feels she has to speak to you the way she does.

Tell her it how it makes you feel when she does it and that it is not good for team building or office moral!
