How to deal with belly button piercing pain?

I just changed my piercing yesterday and it didn't hurt then, but today i must have hit it on something because it hurts real bad. Is there anything i can do or can i take aspirin for it.

an asprin would be fine.  a little neosporin on the piercing might be good.  You probably caused a few micro tears when changing out the piercing.  It should go away in a day or two unless you are going with a smaller gauge.  Then it will take longer.

put ice on it and take a aspirin

if the pain persists for longer than a week , go to a doc as it may be a sign of infection

It maybe because the typ of metal ur new jewellery is made from or type shape or size ofjewelerye different that is causing it to be uncomfortable/painful. i would put ur old one back and give it a few more weeks to heal before putting the new one in, also be carefull of catching it on the cop of ur jeans or on ur tshirt when i dress/undress.

asprin wont do much good apart from thin ur blood, take a paracetamal. also if it is a new piercing, try not to overclean in!
