  1. I know if you swallow, your ears will pop. So maybe if you could give the baby something small to eat or drink so he swallows it.

  2. The best thing that helps a baby to deal with the pressure in the ears is actually what they will do naturally - cry and scream.

Obviously on a plane you may not want to disturb other passengers, so giving them a dummy to suck on at takeoff and landing or feeding them (hard to do when you both need to be strapped in perhaps) will work rather well.

  3. My ears never popped while I was on a plane maybe it won't affect the baby

  4. Chewing gum barely helps me. What I do is stuff the ear with a cotton ball so you can make an air tight seal. Or you can just go out and buy ear plugs.

  5. best way is to chew a gum =]

  6. what i normally do is block my nose using 2 fingers and than try to blow out through my nose

    try it, it helps me

  7. Give them something to suck on, swallowing prevents air pressure from effecting you. Have them suck on a pacifier or eat something. I'm 13 and I do realize its pathetic that i know this.
