Question:

How to deal with phimosis?

I am 18, and I've noticed that my f******n does not work as it should.(almost no stretching)

I also have been reading stuff in the net, and noticed that there are some 'glands' or whatever attached to my p***s.

Is there any way to treat it without a doctor?

  1. A tight f******n is surprisingly common and can usually be self-treated at home in private.

It involves stretching exercises (ideally in the bath/shower) to make it easier to pull back. Be patient, because it must be stretched daily over several weeks, but it will be worth it in the end!

The below websites have some good advice:

  2. Stretching the f******n opening to accomodate normal f******n retraction and mobility should be done very gradually and gently.

This is done over a period of weeks and months.    With the p***s erect, you can pull the f******n back until a small amount of pain and discomfort is felt, and with p***s flaccid and f******n pulled over the glans, a sideways stretch of the opening can also be used, inserting a finger or fingers into the opening.

You can type in phimosis on your browser and you will find a lot of sites that have treatments for this condition that don't involve the drastic mutilation of circumcision.

There is one site CIRP which has the most information about this.

Many doctors advise circumcision, but they are generally biased, as they make money from it and are frequently members of the minority religious groups that try to impose male genital mutilation on others.

Circumcision is NEVER necessary and damages the p***s and sexual ability.

There is also a tool called a "glansie" which can aid in the stretching.

Should this fail, in more extreme cases, there is a small incision, called a dorsal slit, which can be cut in the f******n opening to facilitate retraction.    This leaves the f******n intact, and has much less drastic consequences and faster healing time than circumcision.

Also use care not to trap the f******n behind the glans until there is enough widening of the f******n opening for free mobility.    This is called paraphimosis, and can strangulate the glans by cutting off the blood supply if the f******n is too tight.

Most phimosis is caused by doctors, nurses and caregivers who are ignorant of the fact that an infant's or toddler's f******n should never be retracted, as this causes damage to the elasticity of the f******n opening before it has time to develop properly--it causes some scar tissue to form.

    Good luck to you.

  3. You can try soaking in warm water and stretching it.  After put some lotion on it I recommend Aveeno it worked when I had that problem.  Hope this helps.

  4. There is no point in not going to the doctor despite what Eric is telling you. The doctor is qualified to examine you and find out if there is a problem with your f******n and no one here can tell if it is fixable.

All doctors do not encourage circumcision and the suggestion that a lot of us are from minority groups that promote circumcision smacks of anti-Semitism as well as anti-circumcision. Most doctors try to use conservative methods to fix phimosis if that is, indeed, what you have. Also Eric's assertion that circumcision is  NEVER necessary is plain old hogwash. If conservative methods fail then a circ is the answer. It is nothing to be feared and will not damage your enjoyment of s*x.

You were also told that doctors perform circumcision to make money. This is not logical. Most don't want to bother because the procedure does not pay well and they have much better things to do that pay better. Don't let anyone try to sway you away from circumcision. If you need it is a God-send. I had one and have never regretted it despite being 26 at the time. It often makes your s*x life a lot more pleasant.

Are you willing to visit a group that discusses the positive aspects of circumcision? Please do go to your doctor; this would be wiser than relying on lay-people to diagnose your problem.

  5. Yes! Acutally if you surfed around Yahoo! answers you would see this is a common issue. It is fairly easily treated with daily exercises of stretching the skin and/or pulling it back as far as possible.

You must be VERY careful not to overexert yourself as this could cause tears and other bad things. :)

You do not need to consult a doctor about, just stretch in everyday in the shower or before you sleep.
