My swallows began to hurt yesterday morning and i decided to go see the doctor THIS morning. It's just terrible he gave penicillin something to gargle with every so often and suggested i take advil. I can't eat, i can't sleep my throat has tons of mucus , its dreadfully painful to swallow my own saliva , my ears are hurting too, it hurts to speak and breath basically I'm a disaster. Any suggestions as to what i can do to help ease the pain because if i don't think i'll be sleeping tonight. By the way I'm only 15 years old and i've had strep in the past, never this terrible though.

  1. I hate this for you, I have it right now too. I have a blister, and just noticed it earlier, so I haven't even got to go to the doctor. I'm breathing really hard, and stuff. And the only time I have felt good, was taking a hot, hot shower, it opens everything in my nose and throat and feels great! Also, suck on some ice, or put ice in a cup of water, stir until the ice melts and drink it right before your about to fall asleep, it will numb you until your asleep. I hope I get to the doctor tomorrow!
