How to deal with the mean manager?

i started work about a little over a month ago, and the first day i worked with a certain manager she seemed to hate me for no apparent reason. She glares for no reason at me, makes me do all the hard heavy lifting work that I'm not supposed to do, gets mad when i make a small mistake, acts like ive worked there for about 10 years instead of one month and gets really angry when i dont know how to do something that i wasnt trained to do, just an overall ***** to me.

It's been like this ever since we first worked together, she hates me for no reason and acts like i ran over her cat or something, idk.

She only acts like that around me though. With everyone else she laughs with, jokes around with, and is friendly towards them.

This is my first job, so i have no idea how to deal with this

please help!

  1. You can discuss this problem with her .

Or if your company has a human resource department , discuss it with them .

Being a manager is not a license to be an a**hole or to treat people like c**p.

  2. That seems more than a little unfair! I would say she has a problem with you but not for a valid reason. She is the manager and this is ur first job..so, that being said i'm guessing you are young and she is olddoesn't you...she probably doesnt like you because you are younger and prettier than her...women/girls can be a ***** for no apparent reason and really they are jealous...she probably also knows that you wont be sticking around and making a career there like she has! I know ppl always say that you should go above her and tell on her blah blah blah--whatever...that never works...especailly since she is the manager& probably devotes alot of time there and puts in lots more hours than you...i would disagree with anyone that says that because it will only make her mad and nothing will come of it anyway!...good luck...if you get to fed up tell her to kiss ur butt cuz she's an old, bitter, single mother whos husband left her for a younger woman!...lol
