  1. i would let them have fun

  2. 1) strike a match. light all the other matches inside the box. blow it out before it burns away (this is called genie-ing a box of matches where i come from). wait a few days.

2)organise a few very ticked off neighbours who want a decent street. when the problem family/families are tucked up & asleep in their beds, pour a few gallons of 4 star through their letter box/boxes. throw in the genied match box (no danger of ignition. it is stone cold after the few days)

3)follow the petrol & matches with a note telling them "behave or burn"

  3. If they were really annoying me, I would be upfront with them and ask them to be a bit more careful with their ball but also to keep the noise down too. I hope I could help you : )

  4. I am wondering why you think the fact that your neighbors have a life is a bad thing.  Are you jealous?

  5. we have a similar situation. young kids of eight and nine shouting screaming and playing football in the road till eleven at night. the police should have the power to fine these parents on the spot!! for letting children run h**l!! over the rights of the neighbourhood. i have to go out and clear them off from around my car every!! night. most people have this story. if the fine was £50.00 or a week in the cells for every night their little brats were out after nine o clock then our streets would be ours again. but as usual 90% of us are made to suffer for the rights of a selfish and frankly 'sub human' 10%....its ridiculous.

  6. the only thing you can do is go over there or just complain, some neighbors moved next to us as we live in these new apt and they are loud on the weeknds when coming home and our bedroom is in the front so we hear all the laughing etc. we did tell the landlord and he told them, but sometime it gets annoying.but for you, since you live in a house etc id just complain.

  7. Personally I would buy two very large and ferocious dogs and fit a gate if the ball come onto your property the dogs will chew it and they wont dare knock and ask for it back or you could have the dogs eat the noisy neighbours, the two advantages of this are no more noise and disruption and a cheap form of food for your dogs.

  8. did you ever kick a ball as a youngster in the street

  9. if you have a homeowners community maybe call/write them a letter. or call the non-emergency police.

  10. CALL POLICE

  11. lol sounds like murphy's law neighbors

  12. Do you have a resident's association?  You may find that other people living in the street also feel it's a problem and you could use collective pressure to ask them to tone it down a bit - or better still, invite them to a meeting to discuss the issue calmly. However, they are not committing any crimes so i don't think you could call the police and you don't want to antagonise them into becoming more rowdy.

  13. ASBO!! anti social behavior order

Log everything that is going on around you.... and contact the police.... they will deal with it.

These people are of the braindead mentality and you wont be able to communicate unless you communicate using caveman language.... so dont even say anything to them about what is going on.  I have had similar experiences with idiotic neighbours and when i opened my big mouth they all ganged up against me... so just keep hush.  My neighbours ended up pacing up and down my front path outside when i was at loggerheads with them you dont want that.....

Eleven at night is too late for all of this nonsense and the police will realise this straight away and be on to them!!

    Good luck

  14. The first step is to talk to the neighbours yourself, if you've tried that, the housing association may be able to help you, they don't take kindly to anti social behaviour.

  15. If I were you I wouldn't say anything at all. Kids will 'have' you for years, taunting/knock-a-door-run. Scratch your car. It's a sad fact but kids seem to rule these days, they are not afraid of anyone/thing and ASBOs are a trophy.

Just ignore them and they'll probably move on
