Hi. My grandpa had cancer in his lungs, and it spreaded. He was so healthy up to this point. We we're all there to comfort him nut the doctor said he didnt have that much long to live. His breathing started to get shorter, and he passed away. I think about him and my other grandpa who died with alzheimers when i was young and in shcool when he died but they're so special to me and i really would love to have them back but i know i cant. I am just wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen to them and how they dealt with it. Theres this one song wake me up when september ends by green day that makes me cry. I really miss them alot and i send them all of my prayers.

  1. Natalie,

Let the love you had for them and they had for you live within you to make you a better person for having had the chance to love them and be loved back by them.

There is good in all bad.

Look for the good and let it guide you. It is what they would have wanted for you instead of knowing you were dwelling on their loss.

  2. Well at leastt you are doing the right thing, you are taking it to prayer.  The things about death is , it comes for us all. Don't look at it as such a sadden occassion Everybody has to come down those same roads and face the same bed of roses. You will reunite with your family at the proper time.

  3. I only knew one of my grandfathers.  And he was a wonderful man...  Always telling me how beautiful I was...  Every morning I would get out of bed with him at 4am and he would give me cookies and milk and  put me back to bed before he went to work.  My mom and dad  says it is impossible for me to remember that cause I was so young but I do I even remember my crib sat at the end of a wide hall with a window behind it.   And when the ice cream truck would come he would always give us a quarter to chase it down...

These are such wonderful moments I will never forget...

You will always remember your grandpa.  The pain will later turn to very fond memories.... I know it doesn't seem it now but hang in there it will...
