I'm 21 years old. I just came here in America about a year ago. I'm a nursing student currently taking all my prerequisites to enter the Nursing program. We all know that being a nursing student and entering that program is a GRUELING ordeal. My goal is to enter the program with straight As as much as possible, which I know that it will need a lot of studying and focus. But even before I take all this classes I was already hooked with reading and educating myself about Investing (stocks, mutual funds,IRAs,401K,banking system etc.) and I'm really trying to have an in-depth knowledge about all of it. I know within myself that I can learn all the things that I need to know without taking a finance course and I will try to be fully equipped and knowledgeable before I invest my money in any forms. I'm also well aware that I NEED to invest EARLY as much as possible and try not to lose all the TIME or the investment years. I'm still in the learning stage with my investing stuff and I also know that it will be an endless learning for me.

I feel that I already losing money every day that I delay Investing or not reading about Investing. I really want to be a nurse and finish successfully but of course it will take years of hard work and I will inevitably pass all those investing years of my life. But when I finished my nursing I will have a great future and I know that it will give me a lot of financial resources to invest in. What do you think guys, I'm kinda confused. I want to be a brillliant Nurse and an excellent Investor

  4. Dude. Here's the best advise you'll get from this question...

CALM DOWN! You're only 21. Calm the heck down.

  5. Well I say do high risk investments if you are young.. thirty or younger.. my manager gave me great advice. I have a 401 k and Employee stock purchase plan and should have a great retirement. i think since you are studying hard to do what you want and learn it all you will be fine... Like i said do the highest investments possible and you will seek the benefits
