How to decorate a light green room? It's too plain ?

My room used to be like a dark, like really dark purple and I used to have posters everywhere. Now my mom doesn't want me to put too many things on my wall. My room is small, so it can't be anything that will make it look smaller. Right now it's basically pink & green, but its too girly for me. I am girly, but it looks like a little girls room. Help on decorating it? Oh, I'm 13 btw if that helps.

Wow!  I love it and don't think it looks too girly at all.  You can add some white sheets with a lace border add some floral pillow cases in the same colors to mix in with the plaids.  Try a lamp with some beading hanging from the shade or crystals.  Choose a few seclective photos to maybe hang two over your headboad rather than posters, maybe some botanicals for a more adult look.

Look up french styles or cottage styles for some ideas.  Is your furniture white by any chance?  Like I said, I love it.

chillin suggested a lamp with "danglies" off the shade. I think that is a good idea and is a very popular style right now. They can be sort of spendy though. Crystals are nice too. I just thought I would share this one as it is a little more affordable http://www.rlights.com/viewproduct.php?i...

putting mirrors on your walls will make your room look bigger and brighter cause light will be reflected on the mirrors
