How to decorate these plain old things?

I bought plain 70 pg. notbooks at walmart. i covered them with a bright color of scapbook paper. now they are still plain. but colorful. how should i decorate them or personalize them?

I would buy some small seed beads, glitter, rinestones, sequins, and stuff like that and glue them on (you can get these all at a craft store by the scrapbooking materials). The previous girl, A, had a great suggestion with glueing magazine clipping...pics, sayings, I'd take it a step further and put some glitter glue or glitter pens and outline the clipings. or say if you have a pic of a person wearing a red shirt, fill in their shirt with red glitter, but don't overdo it, just accent the pictures with a little glitter. maybe you could write your name with glitter or your class name or room number, something like that would look really nice!

Okay, I did something related to this the other day. I wanted to spice up my room a bit, so I decided to make some personalized artwork. I cut out clippings of magazines. Example:

Leonardo DiCaprio (because I love him)

The Secret Life of the American Teenager logo (because it's my fav show)

pictures of candy

Cool words that had a neat design

small Tampax box (it's a girls' nessecity!)

Just do things that relate to YOU!

Making a collage is fun :)
