How to delete URL in Mozilla Firefox?

Tools > options > privacy > private data.

Click on settings first to set what you want to clear. After that you can clear manually or at every close of the browser.

If you are actually referring to search terms then that is part of the autocomplete feature that can be turned off in options.

Go to options/ privacy/ history/ remember what I enter in forms and the search bar.

You can also delete the entries by double clicking on an empty box, drop down to the first item, and then press delete for each entry.
