  1. get a hammer and bet the c**p out of it than rip the wires off of it take it outside and run it over with your car that's what i did

  2. I just finally got rid of this virus from my computer.  I was using Norton/Symantec and still got the virus.  Tried all the advise given here and nothing worked.  You can't use a system restore and it won't let you start in a safe mode and it won't let you delete it.  I worked on this for 3 days.

Finally, did a full recovery.  Lost most of my files; but the virus is finally gone.

    Feel bad for you.

    Good luck with this.

  3. try this .

  4. Forget everything just download the Dr.web CureIT (www.freedrweb.com/cureit) and scan the whole computer.... ur all problem will b solved pls scan in safe mode (when u start ur computer press F8 (till u get the safe mode option) GO to the safe mode and the run cureit....

and if u use pendrives the use this software autoruneater... to protect the viruses directly run from pen-drive...

  5. How to remove XP Antivirus 2008, XP Antivirus 2009, and XPAntiVirus (Removal Instructions)

  6. Just download

    http://www.superantispyware.com

Make sure you click for "updates" before you do a "complete" scan.

This will rid you of this pest.

I've done it myself and recommended it to plenty of others who have also removed it from their PC.

  7. First uninstall your free browser add-on toolbars at add/remove programs because some of them installs adware, yahoo and google are ok.

Next Install Panda Internet Security, uninstall it when its done the biz because its online all the time and will slow your computer down.

  8. IT is a scam!!! I just had a same thing , it took me 2 days to figure out how to remove this virus.

They downloaded many trojans horses and now they want you to buy their software to remove it, ITs a scam!! and its actually viruses on your computer now. I had the same thing.

Here is how I get rid of it:

    1. Disable system restore - Go to control panal > System > System restore tab and check the box that says “Turn off system restore on all drivers” then restart your pc and tap F8 during startup several times so you can start in safe mode.

    2. Run AVG (you can get a free version off internet)and delete any viruses it detects.

    3. Restart your pc and uncheck the “Turn off system restore on all drivers” Box.

Doing that deletes your system restore files in case the virus is hidden there.

Check to make sure you can change your screensaver and backgrounds for some reason, it disabled those for me. If they’re still disabled after you did the above then Google ''dial-a-fix''. It’s a free program that allowed me to enable the display tabs (Option called policies).

  9. Antivirus 2008 XP is a rogue security application that claims to keep your system safe from spyware. It detects false positives and tries to scare the user into purchasing the application. It is recommended that your remove this software from your computer to secure your system from suspected applications that might threaten system security or stability. The program is a clone of WinSpywareProtect and Antispyware 2008 XP. It has a resembling interface and consists from terribly similar components.
