Click on "Tools" at the top right corner of your Internet Explorer page;

Click on "Delete Browsing History";

You will get a new window with some directions;

Follow those to delete the websites you have visited / webpages, etc.

on the internet explorer window u can c tools option . go to on tools and u will c internet options in that window u will c clear history option., if u click on that u will delete all the websites u have visited from the adress bar in internet expolrer window. or if u wanna delete the pages u have visited in last few days then go n click on history, right click on the day u want to delete n then click on delete

You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

To delete a history go to the "Tools" section of your browser (if it's Internet Explorer) and then click on a section called "Internet Options".  When you click on that section it will then show you a screen with several tabs.  The first tab has "General" and on this page toward the bottom it has a section for "History" with a tab that shows how many days the history is kept and then next to that is a button that says, "Clear History".

After you click on that button the history that shows will be deleted.
