How to delete files off computer

I tried putting it in the recycle bin, tried using the command prompt but my computer freezes every time i try to delete this file

  2. this probably means something is using the file or the index information for the file is corrupt.

    Access safe mode command prompt by pressing f8 repeatedly as your computer starts up.

    From here run chkdsk /f

    Once this is completed try to delete the file from the command prompt if you know how. If you do not know how, access regular safe mode and use windows to delete the file.

  5. wow thats strange cuz thats wat i do when i wanna delete files but actually now that i think of it... my old computor did that too and it was real strabge. I just kept trying. SO then my computor got faster the more i did the deleting of files.

  11. Make sure that it is not a system file.

    Log in to Safe Mode Windows and delete the file. Or better still, use safemode command prompt.
