How to delete iphone application?

I add the application directly thru the phone, how can I delete them if I don't want them?

Press down on the app button until they all start shaking. A red X should appear on the top corner of the app button, press and you should be prompted to delete. Good luck!

you go to your itunes and delete them from your phone there

Hold down an icon until they all start to wiggle and have little X's up in the corner.  Push the X of the application you don't want on the phone.  Then confirm the deletion when it asks.

To delete it from your iTunes, just hit the delete button.  Or make sure it doesn't sync when you plug in the phone to reinstall it.
