you'd need to have that priviledge as a moderator to remove members, if ou don't have that then you cant remove members from the group. if you do not see little boxes to the far right within the memebrs list, you don't have the priviledge. not all moderators are given all 9 priviledges

Are you asking as the group moderator how to delete a member?  If so, go to the group member list, find the member that you want to delete.  Click on edit membership for that person.  Then select remove.  Save changes.  You can also ban the member if you don't want them to have the option to rejoin.
