How to delete quicktime movies off my mac

I have a mac and in the top right corner there is a search option (magnifying glass). When I click on it a whole list comes up and on that list are some movies I would like to delete. The problem is, is that I don't know how to delete them.

When you see the search list, click the "Show All" button (it comes up at the top of the list). The scroll down to the Movies section. If some movies are hidden, click the 'more' button below the listed movies. Drag the movies to the trash. (You can single-click on one movie, hold down the Shift key, and use the up/down arrow keys to select more than one movie. When they're selected, single click on one of the selected movies, keep holding the mouse button down, and drag the mouse to the Trash, or the icon of a wastebasket at the right end of the Dock). Then right-click the Trash and choose 'Empty Trash'.
