How to delete searched hint from ''web search''?

i am not looking to delete the searched content but searched hint

If you are talking about the search assistant that pops up under the search bar in yahoo - this is how to shut that off...

When you type in your search criteria, inside the box that opens there is an option at the far right, top that says "search assist: On/ Off. Just click on OFF.
