  1. They are 2 different things.

    For searches:

That is part of the autocomplete feature that can be turned off in options.

    In IE go to tools/ internet options/ content/ autocomplete/ settings/ forms.

In Firefox go to tools/ options/ privacy/ history/ remember what I enter in forms and the search bar.

You can also delete the entries by double clicking on an empty box, drop down to the first item, and then press delete for each entry.

    For addresses:

Go to tools options or internet options and clear the history.

  2. Click Tools on your browser.

    Click Delete Browsing History.

A window will pop-up and give you a choice on what you want to delete.

    Hope this helps!

  3. To make it look less suspicious, you just click in the search box until you get the drop-down box that lists all of your previous searches. Scroll down until you find it hover the mouse so that it highlights it and press delete on the keyboard. After this, you need to delete the history file of when you searched for it. Just open up history (the clock with the arrow) and type in what you searched for. You should come to what you searched for and delete that, too. Then delete any other things you may have gone to from that search. After you have done all of that, you'll want to empty your trash. This looks a lot less suspicious because not everything is gone and it looks like you have changed nothing. There you go. It takes a little while longer, but it is a lot less obvious.

  4. Find internet options (should be under tools).

Next there should be something that says browsing history,

(under should say delete cookies, history, temporary files...etc)

Click on delete and you want to delete history,

This is for windows XP by the way so it might be slightly different layout on your comp -but these are what you need to find.

    Good luck
