How to delete the unnecessary items appearing in SEARCH?

after sign out there are items appearing in the sarch bar even repetition how to delete

  1. That is part of the autocomplete feature that can be turned off in options.

    In IE go to internet options/ content/ autocomplete/ settings/ forms.

    In Firefox go to options/ privacy/ history/ remember what I enter in forms and the search bar.

    You can also delete the entries by double clicking on an empty box, drop down to the first item, and then press delete for each entry.

  2. Internet Explorer 7.0

    Clear the browsing history from < Tools < Internet Options

    Firefox 3.0

    Clear the cache using the following tabs in the main browser window Options < Clear private date

    Infact, Firefox 3.0 has a default setting where whenever u finish a session by closing all open firefox browser window, it prompts you to clear the cache including private date (  which includes the search items as well ) works very well for me ;-)

    Other browsers should have similar options.....Hope this helps

  3. You have to keep your cursor on that search line and manually delete it using the delete button on your keyboard.
